Failure to Return / Replevin ClauseI understand and agree that the animal adopted from Karrington Kare Rescue remains the legal property of the Rescue until all terms of the adoption contract are fully satisfied. If I fail or refuse to return the animal upon request by Karrington Kare Rescue for any reason, I acknowledge that I am wrongfully retaining the animal. I agree that Karrington Kare Rescue has the right to pursue legal action, including a suit for replevin, to recover possession of the animal. I further agree that I may be responsible for all costs associated with recovery, including but not limited to court costs, attorney’s fees, transportation costs, and any veterinary expenses incurred as a result of the animal’s recovery.
