🐾 ROY – 2.5 YEARS WAITING FOR A HOME 🐾

Roy is a 4-year-old, intelligent, loyal, and affectionate dog who has spent most of his life without a family. He survived nearly 2 years in a shelter and was saved on 9/2/25 by Karrington Kare Rescue on his euthanasia day. Since then, he has been in 7 months of professional board-and-train, where he has made excellent progress.

He is highly trainable, responsive, and thrives with structure, but he needs the right person to continue guiding him.

• Active/athletic lifestyle (running, hiking, biking, agility)

• Consistent structure, routine, and continued training

• Someone who can provide both leadership and affection

🏕️ Roy would especially thrive with an active individual or organization—including American Pit Bull Terrier enthusiasts or groups involved in agility, hiking, camping, or working/fitness-based activities. He is an excellent candidate for a lifestyle that keeps him engaged, challenged, and fulfilled.

💛 Roy is doing everything right—but what he’s missing is love. He craves connection, attention, and a person to bond with.

• Dog-friendly with slow introductions

• No cats

• Older kids (14+) only

• No elderly (due to strength/energy)
